I chose this hotel for attending a council because it provided a welcoming meeting room, ideal for small conferences and seminars. The facilities were comfortable and well-equipped, creating a conducive environment for productive discussions and presentations.
The only service I missed for my work was a reliable and high-speed internet connection. It would have been beneficial to have a strong and stable Wi-Fi signal in the meeting room to conduct online research, access important documents, and communicate efficiently with colleagues and clients.

the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing me to check out later than usual. The hotel was clean and the balcony was a pleasant surprise. The location was also great, being both central and quiet.
No wifi in the rooms.

Recently stayed at Hotel Antico Borgo for a few nights. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even assisting with our luggage. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast, despite negative reviews, was excellent. our experience exceeded expectations and we plan to return.
Can just recommend this hotel.

Not a bad hotel in the heart of Riva.
Furniture and plumbing are worn out, there are questions for room cleaning.

The standard rooms at Hotel Antico Borgo were absolutely amazing! They had all the modern amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were cozy and well-designed, making us feel right at home. We loved the air conditioning, minibar, and private bathroom with a refreshing shower. It was everything we needed for a pleasant family vacation.
Personally, I found the junior suites a bit too elegant for my taste. But I understand that some guests might appreciate the sophisticated interiors despite my personal preference.

Great location and helpful staff. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to the best restaurants, cafes, and shops. The staff were incredibly helpful and always had a smile on their face. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views and was a great place to relax.
As for the downside, the bathrooms were a bit on the small side and the menu was a bit limited. However, this was not a big deal as there were plenty of other dining options nearby.

Food was always good with a varied choice over the week. Rooms were nice and modern and very well maintained. Good value for money. Once we booked the hotel a member of staff e-mailed us to offer her assistance and answer any questions which was very helpful.
Bar area was very small. They dont provide internet in the rooms, wireless time has to be purchased at reception and used in the reception area. No parking on site, but I gather they do have an agreement with another hotel to park nearby, Best to speak to the hotel before arriving to arrange this.

The hotel had a great view of the mountains and was situated in the heart of the historic town. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and the food was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and the evening meals were of a high standard. Plus, there was free access to a rooftop terrace, which was a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine after a long day of exploring.
The room we stayed in was quite small for a double bedroom. Although it had all the necessary amenities, such as air conditioning and a safe, we would have appreciated some basic toiletries such as a razor and toothbrush/toothpaste, especially as the airline lost our luggage.

Hotel Antico Borgo is perfectly situated to explore Riva and Lake Garda and the surrounding area. We joined family there and one evening Italian relatives came to join us for dinner and the hotel was very accommodating. The food choice in the hotel is typically Italian which being part Italian we loved, I did over hear guests moaning about the food but to be honest what do they expect to eat in an Italian hotel??? The dining room staff were excellent and very professional. My father is in a wheelchair and the staff were excellent with assisting where required. There is car parking facilities in a near by underground private section of a car park and is well worth the small daily cost. The cleanliness of the hotel is superb and we had clean towels everday. I would recommend the hotel to family & friends and will more than happily return in the future.
The biggest problem with the hotel is the stairs and the layout if the hotel... The layout I appreciate cannot be changed but the hotel has 2 lifts, 1 in reception and 1 on the first floor of the left hand side of the hotel but to reach this lift to access other floors on the left of the hotel means climbing numerous stairs which is unacceptable for the less mobile people. We were very disappointed when we arrived as the lady on reception never mentioned the second lift. We travelled with my partners mother and Father who has a bad knee. My father in law and my mum who was already resident in the hotel went to look for our rooms while we went to park the car, when we got back to the hotel we found out the upset that had occurrd due to the fact that we were situated to the left of the hotel where the lift was on the 1st floor up various stairs... The hotel had no other rooms and could not do anything about the allocated rooms. We didn't allow this to spoil the holiday but this should be something that yourselves and the hotel should make clear on you web site. Luckily it wasn't my father who is in a wheelchair.

The hotel's location in the pedestrianised town center was ideal for easy access to nearby restaurants and cafes. I particularly enjoyed the sun terrace on the roof, which provided a relaxing spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was spacious and clean. Additionally, the hotel facilities were impressive, including a great shower.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The place was modern and clean
The listing stated quadruple room with 4 double beds but instead we got two single beds put together and a bunk bed that could only sleep children! We were 3 adults.

The standard rooms at Hotel Antico Borgo have all the modern conveniences, making my stay incredibly comfortable. I felt right at home with the air conditioning, minibar, and private bathroom with a shower. It was the perfect room for a budget traveler like me!
Personally, I didn't like that the junior suites consisted of only one room.

Located by the lake, this hotel is right in the centre of the old part of town. It is only a short walk from the waterfront, making it a great location for those who enjoy walks by the lake. The breakfast is a good selection of continental items and is regularly replenished. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with efficient air conditioning. The rooftop terrace offers great views and is a nice spot for relaxing with a book.
The bathroom shelves could be larger, as they offer minimal space for toiletries.
